Privacy Policy

Last updated 30 September 2026

This policy explains how Data Founders Ltd (“Data Founders”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We are the data controller for that information under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. If you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email address, company and anything you choose to tell us about your enquiry.
  • Booking information. Calls are scheduled through Calendly, which processes the details you enter on our behalf.
  • Technical information. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical data such as IP addresses to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and prepare for calls, and, if we work together, to deliver and manage that engagement. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your data, and we will not add you to a mailing list without your consent.

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with service providers that help us run the business (such as email, scheduling and document tools), and only as far as they need it to provide their service. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep records for as long as needed to meet contractual, legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@datafounders.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
